Varanasi is the beating heart of India, with the sacred river Ganga flowing through it like a lifeline.
Also known as The City of Light, it is a melting pot for pilgrims, devotees, and holy men (Sadhus) alike.
This is my personal collection of street photography and portraits where I capture the heart and soul of the people as they celebrate and worship at will.
This album captures the individualistic nature of the people of this city in their most natural setting. Peacefully living, with an appreciation for the local animals.
Known as the spiritual capital of India, the city of light is home to over 2000 ancient temples and draws pilgrims from all over the world who bathe in the sacred waters of the River Ganges.
The City of Varsani dates back to 11th Century BC, and it is rich in culture and spirituality.
Varanasi is the India you imagined; it is everything you could want, and better than you could ever expect.
